Live your medicine, change your world.
Ayurveda and Yoga.
Ayurveda is the traditional medical science of India, it is the younger sister of Yoga. Once Ayurveda was born, it became a primary promoter of Yoga. Ayurveda clearly sees Yoga for all its worth, and Ayurveda increases the potential of Yoga by using it as a remedy. Yoga and Ayurveda together are a perfect combo for living well. They have the unending potential to promote mental health, inner healing and an attitude of soulful kindness – three ways in which our life can transform.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a word from India, translates in English as ‘Life’ ‘Study’ – Life Knowledge or Science of Life. In modern terms, Ayurveda finds what DNA we have, and helps us to understand our balance. Once we understand our balance our consistent use of gentle remedies daily will increase our balance. Naturally this will allow our dysfunction to ease. I love knowing Ayurveda is a proactive traditional medical science.

When we have sustained a long time of being off the rails, it shows in our health of body and mind.
With equal power, when we sustain inner balance for a long time, it also shows externally.
Ayurveda is a powerful cheerleader for you to live in tune to your own natural rhythm.
The sound of your own life, dancing to your own tune.

The ancient meaning of Ayurveda still holds true today - Ayurveda knowingly works with all of Life to find the elusive and ever changing Balance. As we seek balance we accumulate wisdom and intellect. This offers us clarity to live intelligently. As we begin to meet our balanced state we might have opportunity to come into the field of Oneness. Or Pure consciousness. This is freedom, this is Moksha.
How does Ayurveda relate to Vedic Science? Ayurveda is the medical aspect of Vedic science for treating both body and mind. Ayurveda is part of the ‘whole’ of Vedic science. It is the healing science working with Yoga as a therapy. You cannot be without Ayurveda and study Vedic Science, since this is one of its main principles.
